Life is given to man only once. It has its beginning and its end, and what the middle will be, the man himself will decide. Walking along the path of life, each person meets his love, which then can become either the meaning of his whole life, or life tragedy.
Love is an art that not everyone can master.
The theme of love is one of the leading topics in world literature. That is why for several centuries one of the stars that Shakespeare lit up over us has been shining. This bright star has a symbolic name – Love; star, which continues to shine today, illuminating with bright light the fate of lovers.
Living conditions are changing and today’s teenagers have become different, but it is unchanged that their souls are also open with an ardent feeling. I think that in the modern world, it is love that must be the great power on which life rests.
I know that each person has his own love story. History, which is a magnificent force that can change a person, inspire him, raise him to incomprehensible heights. How many world masterpieces of literary, pictorial, musical have been created on this subject. Can an ordinary person add something substantial to the eternal theme addressed by geniuses ?!
One of these geniuses is Shakespeare, who created such brilliant images as Romeo and Juliet.
It seems to me that the story of Romeo and Juliet is eternal, and the images of the main characters are immortal. Romeo and Juliet are people of a new generation who aspired to happiness. They had a belief that love was able to overcome any obstacles.
Despite the fact that they belong to the warring families, the heroes do not refuse love.
The fact that Juliet only thirteen times proves once again that a great feeling is also inherent in young souls. Love for the heroes came suddenly and unexpectedly, and I think that is what made them adults. Everything is forgotten: both relatives and past duties – the souls of the heroes are revealed towards happiness.
Loyalty to a loved one, faith in Romeo, determination, a sense of personal rightness – all this makes Juliet the brightest symbol of human feeling.
The author very clearly reflected the reality of reality: after all, everything in life is complicated and not always possible to resist evil. After reading this work, I thought: Do we, today’s teens, have the strength of mind, adherence, fidelity, holiness, purity of feelings, so as not to break under the influence of life’s difficulties? Can we, young people, not swim with the flow without barriers, are we capable of feats for the sake of love?
It is impossible to give a clear answer to these questions, but it is insulting to realize that in our time it is unlikely to find a couple of lovers who are capable of anything for the sake of love. Modern teens fall in love, but do they love? Yes, of course they do. Is it worth the love of self-sacrifice?
I think that among the people of today’s generation there will not be those who will be a real prototype of Shakespearean heroes.
What about the girls? Many of them smoke, use foul language, try to be older … Now, even real friendship between boys and girls does not exist. And sometimes I really want attention and warmth, real male support and help.
Modern youth, unfortunately, prefers money and expensive things than spiritual values. They do not realize that a person can live without many things that seem necessary, which everyone is after. Adolescents are dominated by thoughts about business, money, and career.
You can live without excess money, without unnecessary costs, without unnecessary entertainment. But how can you live without love? At least I had doubts that among my peers, someone is capable of feats for the sake of love.
It’s a shame to realize that today even minor disputes can kill feelings, and how you want real feelings to only temper, make them stronger, brighter and more beautiful. This is exactly what Shakespeare proved in his work, he said that love with its dedication, even death, brings peace, light, reconciliation. The death of Romeo and Juliet is not only a tragic lesson, it is the best lesson in fidelity.
The images of Romeo and Juliet are eternal. They are imbued with an optimistic faith in Man. These holy images depict a beautiful, pure and joyful feeling of love.
How do you want love to push us to create, work, accomplish feats. And the one who carried this holy feeling through life could confidently say: “I did not live in vain!” Love moves the world, nourishes the philosophy of life. Therefore, it is not surprising that this theme remains inexhaustible, and the images of Shakespearean heroes remain eternal.
